Prof. (Dr.) Sandeep Kumar is presently the Head of the Department of Orthopaedics. He received his medical education from eminent institutes including the Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, UCMS (Delhi), and the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.
With more than 18 years of clinical experience, he has served as a member of various faculty selection committees and as an examiner for MBBS and postgraduate examinations at multiple institutions — and remains a beloved teacher to his undergraduate and postgraduate students.
He brings vast clinical and administrative experience, having served as Head of the Accident & Emergency Department, and as Treasurer and Joint Secretary of the Indian Orthopaedic Association. He has organised numerous national and state-level conferences and workshops, published more than 25 papers in reputed indexed journals, and is regularly invited as a guest speaker at national and international conferences.
